Maryland men’s basketball target Both Gach, a transfer from Utah, is set to announce his decision Monday.
The 6’6 guard will be choosing between the Terps, Minnesota, Creighton, Iowa State and Auburn.
Gach, a native of Austin, Minnesota, averaged 10.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game in his sophomore season. He shot 39.7 percent from the field and 25 percent from beyond the arc.
At the moment, the Terps have three scholarships available. If Gach decides to choose Maryland over his hometown Gophers, he’ll likely have to sit out next season per transfer rules.
