It remains unclear when the 2020 NBA Draft will happen as it has been officially postponed by the league and will likely revolve around what happens with the current season and the COVID-19 pandemic, but projections for top prospects are still in full swing.
Jalen Smith, who declared for the draft following his sophomore season at Maryland, appears to be locked in as a first-round pick by most analysts.
The Baltimore native averaged 15.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game in 2019-20 to be named a First Team All-Big Ten selection, as well as a AP Third Team All-American. He also had the third-most double-doubles (21) in the nation.
