Following a close victory against Nebraska, No. 9 Maryland men’s basketball is at Michigan State Saturday in hopes of stealing a win on the road.
The East Lansing showdown will be the site of College GameDay, adding even more allure to the highly anticipated matchup.
Maryland will face a Michigan State team that hasn’t quite lived up to its preseason expectations. Initially ranked No. 1 in the preseason AP Top 25, Michigan State dropped out of this week’s rankings after losing three straight.
Although the Spartans may not be ranked, a 70-69 win at No. 22 Illinois on Tuesday gave Tom Izzo’s team some momentum heading into Saturday’s game.
Tipoff is scheduled 6 PM ET and the game will be broadcasted on ESPN.
