JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — No. 6-seed Maryland basketball fell to No. 3-seed LSU 69-67 on Saturday. The Terps trailed for much of the contest before mounting a comeback in the second half, but the Tigers hit a shot in the final seconds to take it. Jalen Smith led Maryland with 15 points and five blocks, while Bruno Fernando added another double-double to his season. Here are the best photos from the heartbreaking defeat.
