Maryland basketball is set to play just its second home game of February, as the No. 24 Terps take on Ohio State at 2 p.m. ET Saturday on ESPN. Mark Turgeon’s team is coming off a stretch with seven of nine games away from College Park, but Maryland closes the season with three of four games at home.
These teams previously met on Jan. 18, with Maryland winning 75-61 in Columbus. Ohio State actually has a better record since that game, but the Terps are in solid position for the Big Ten and NCAA tournaments. Maryland is 11-5 in conference play, currently good for fourth place. The Terps are also coming off their first road win over a ranked team since 2008, knocking off Iowa on Tuesday.
As always, this is your space to post observations, commentary and more during the game. Be respectful, and go Terps.
