ORLANDO, Fla. — After a pair of wins — albeit by the skin of its teeth — No. 5 Maryland men’s basketball is playing for a title on Sunday.
The Terps are taking on Marquette in the Orlando Invitational championship at 1 p.m. ET at the HP Field House at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
The Golden Eagles are led by one of the more prolific scorers in the nation in Markus Howard, who broke the scoring record for the tournament in just two days. Maryland will have its hands full in containing him, and Darryl Morsell will likely be tasked with guarding Howard, at least somewhat often.
Maryland is currently favored by 2.5 points as tipoff approaches, and the over/under sits at 153.
As always, this is your space for thoughts, observations or whatever you would like to share, but please be respectful.
