Maryland basketball started 2019 with a crucial win over Nebraska, and will look to keep the momentum going Saturday afternoon as it visits Rutgers.
The Terps’ victory Wednesday was their first over a ranked opponent since February 2016, and it moved them to 11-3 overall and 2-1 in the Big Ten. While Rutgers is 7-5 this season and lost its first two Big Ten games, the Scarlet Knights haven’t exactly been a pushover this year. Maryland hasn’t lost to Rutgers since joining the Big Ten, but is favored by just 3.5 points in this one.
