The Terps are looking to snap their three-game losing streak at home on Sunday against Wisconsin.
The Badgers have gone in a completely different direction than when they last played the Terps last season in Madison, when both teams were ranked. Wisconsin won that last meeting, and the Terps are looking for revenge against them and in the Big Ten.
Maryland, meanwhile has lost six of its last eight games. The Terps are 5-5 on games played on Super Bowl Sunday. The last time they played was in 2010, when they knocked off North Carolina.
Wisconsin is banged up, and the Terps need to take advantage of that to win on Sunday afternoon, along with rebounding well, taking care of the basketball, and conserving their three-point shooting.
The numbers
Maryland: 15-9 (4-7 Big Ten)
Wisconsin: 10-14 (3-8 Big Ten)
All-time series: Wisconsin leads 7-4
Odds: Maryland is an 8 1/2 point favorite
