How to watch Maryland basketball vs. Radford

The Terps finish nonconference play at 6 p.m. ET on ESPNU.

Maryland men’s basketball will close out non-conference play, Saturday night, when they take on the Radford Highlanders. The Terps return to the Xfinity Center for the third time of their four game home-stand.

The Terrapins are coming off a 78-74 loss to the Seton Hall Pirates one week ago. Maryland struggled heavily from the free-throw line, shooting 12-of-20 from the stripe. Seton Hall shot 18-of-21 from the foul line, and this helped swing the result. Down the stretch, it was a game of Myles, as the Pirates’ Myles Powell and Myles Cale took over the contest and led their squad to a victory.

The Highlanders are coming off an 80-68 win over Georgia Southern eight days ago. This 12 point victory snapped a four game losing skid. Radford has two upsets under its belt this season, with wins over Notre Dame and then-No. 17 Texas. Leading scorer Carlik Jones will look to lead the Highlanders once again.

The numbers

Maryland: 9-3, 1-1 Big Ten

Radford: 7-5, 0-0 Big South

All-time series: Maryland leads 1-0
