Maryland men’s basketball returns from finals to take on Seton Hall Saturday evening.
The Terps rolled over Loyola (Md.) 94-71 on Dec. 11, led by Anthony Cowan Jr. and Jalen Smith with 23 and 20 points, respectively. Eric Ayala, Bruno Fernando, Serrel Smith Jr. and Aaron Wiggins added double-digit points in the win.
Now, Maryland faces one of its toughest non-conference opponents as the Pirates come to town. The Pirates are led by junior Myles Powell, who averages 22.7 points per game and shoots 85.1 percent from the free throw line.
After Seton Hall, Maryland faces Radford next Saturday before jumping back into conference play against Nebraska on Jan. 2.
