Maryland basketball is back!
It’s the Terps’ 100th season, and it starts at home against Delaware. Tipoff is at 7:30 on BTN Plus—which, yes, requires a monthly subscription and will air another Maryland game later this month. (Editor’s note: Please do your best to avoid ripping the announcers. They’re Maryland students and our friends.)
Maryland had a busy offseason following a disappointing 2017-18 campaign. The Terps lost Kevin Huerter and Justin Jackson to the draft, Dion Wiley to graduate transfer and Schnider Herard to “professional opportunities” before he played a game in College Park. But they brought in the No. 7 recruiting class in the country, which makes up half the roster.
