Lila Bromberg / Testudo Times
Maryland basketball Bruno Fernando vs. North Carolina A&T

It’s the 136th episode of the Testudo Times Podcast, and though it took 10 games, there’s another Maryland QB with a season ending ACL tear. It’s sadly something you can set your clock to.

Thomas and Ryan joined me to go over these topics and more:

  • Notes from the first three games of the Terps’ new basketball season, including Jalen Smith, Bruno Fernando’s foul trouble (but dominance at all other times), shooting, turnovers, etc. What’s exciting us, and what are we worried about going for?
  • Football notes: Kasim Hill tears his ACL, but Tyrrell Pigrome plays pretty well anyway. Maryland dominates Indiana in every phase of the game minus turnovers, red zone efficiency and penalties, and it costs the Terps a win and potentially bowl eligibility. What went wrong, and why? And do they have any hope against Ohio State?
  • Non-rev news: Field hockey is in the Final Four, the women’s basketball season has started, men’s soccer is once again seeded in the NCAA Tournament, and volleyball continues to win in the Big Ten. It’s all very exciting!

Enjoy the show!
