Why play the top team in the country if you’re not going to flex a little?
Maryland men’s basketball is taking full advantage of its Under Armour partnership and rocking some new team edition Curry 4s against No. 1 Michigan State on Thursday.
The Terps have a difficult task ahead of them, but they’re riding a seven-game winning streak after a win over Penn State on Jan. 2, and these kicks should give them even more confidence.

This colorway seems to be a Terps exclusive as Under Armour continues pushing the Curry 4, and Maryland appears to be the first Under Armour school to get the team colorway treatment. The colorway is nowhere on the market, and isn’t on Under Armour’s release calendar.
Miles Bridges and the rest of Tom Izzo’s Spartans squad represent the top team in both the Big Ten and the country right now. It’s going to take a complete effort from a shorthanded Maryland squad to topple the Goliath.
It’s a little harder to doubt yourself when you’re rocking these sleek high tops with icy blue soles. These may entice some more recruits to want to play for an Under Armour school.
Maryland takes on the top-ranked Spartans in East Lansing, Michigan, on Jan. 4 at 8 p.m. ET on FS1.
