Maryland basketball got off to a hot start against No. 6 Michigan State in front of a raucous and full Xfinity Center on Sunday afternoon, which set the scene fittingly for a flash mob.

The Terps held a 22-16 lead over a top-10 team in the country as a stadium full of students in “Run DMV” broke out some choreography. This is the sixth season Maryland Athletics has brought out the flash mob, which started when Duke came to the Comcast Center in 2013.
Few things are more electric than watching an entire stadium dance in unison. It only gets that much better when wacky inflatable arm flailing tube guys pop out of nowhere and confetti flies as the crowd just feels it. Even Greivis Vasquez had to stand up and get some videos.

The ending wasn’t so great, though. Maryland blew a 13-point halftime lead and lost by six. The Terps have dropped three straight flash mob games.
