Turgeon ditched his usual calm demeanor after the Terps’ win.

Maryland basketball ended the regular season on a high note with a 63-60 Senior Day win over Michigan State. This was the final regular season home game for seniors Damonte Dodd and L.G. Gill. Some bullet points:

  • The Terps will finish tied for second in the Big Ten and will have the 3-seed in next week’s Big Ten Tournament, earning a double bye.
  • In their three years since joining the Big Ten, they’ve finished no worse than tied for second in the league.
  • Turgeon actually told Trimble to drive before pulling up for the game-winning three-pointer.
