Maryland basketball couldn’t overcome a late Purdue run on Saturday, falling to the Boilermakers in a late stunner. Our photographer, Sarah Sopher, was at Xfinity Center to capture all the scenes from Maryland’s third loss of the season.
You can view all of them up top, but I’ll single out some of my favorites here.
This was one of the best atmosphere’s you’ll ever see in Xfinity Center. The students brought it.

Melo Trimble, who made a huge impact in the second half, can been seen here driving to the hoop (I don’t know which specific drive this was, but he probably either made a layup or got fouled).

Here’s all 7’2 of Purdue center Isaac Haas, a truly giant human. Maryland’s Michal Cekovsky led a Terps’ frontcourt that dealt admirably with Haas and Caleb Swanigan.
