Maryland basketball has only played four games away from Xfinity Center, and none should qualify as true road games. The first was at Georgetown in front of more Maryland fans than Georgetown fans, while the other two were at the Barclays Center Classic in front of a neutral audience.
Saturday’s matchup against Michigan is the Terps’ first real road test. They play the Wolverines in Ann Arbor at 3:15 on ESPN2.
Michigan and Maryland are both 1-1 in Big Ten play, with the Wolverines losing to Iowa before beating Penn State. The Terps beat Illinois convincingly before collapsing to lose to Nebraska.
