Maryland basketball's Jared Nickens and Jaylen Brantley attending 2016 ESPYs

"My Boo" lives on.

Jared Nickens

Jared Nickens and Jaylen Brantley are making another trip to California, this time for the ESPYs in Los Angeles next Wednesday. They aren't nominated for any awards, but will be in attendance among the nation's biggest stars.

The duo has far exceeded the typical 15 minutes of fame after their dance phenomenon turned into the "Running Man Challenge" and went global. After a few weeks in the spotlight, Nickens and Brantley were featured on the Ellen Show.

In their first trip to L.A. for the show, the two Terps met up with teammate Robert Carter Jr. while he was training for the NBA and met with the rapper "The Game," who recognized them at a restaurant. The only thing Nickens and Brantley weren't able to accomplish was getting New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to join in on the dance. Now they'll have their chance.
