Former Maryland guard Greivis Vasquez has agreed to a one-year contract with the Brooklyn Nets, according to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.

Vasquez will enter his seventh season with his eighth NBA team. He averaged 5.7 points, four assists and and two rebounds in 23 games last season, as he missed the majority of the season with an ankle injury. He was taken with the 28th pick in the 2010 NBA Draft by the Memphis Grizzlies.
