Maryland basketball added a solid, yet nail-biting, win over Kansas State on Saturday. The Terps will try to make it to 8-0 against Pittsburgh Tuesday night as part of the ACC-Big Ten Challenge.
Once again, Melo Trimble came to the rescue for the Terps with a game-saving bucket and a stellar performance against the Wildcats. Maryland’s going to need more from the rest of its supporting cast pretty soon, because relying on Trimble to score 25 points in every game is too dangerous.
Pitt’s one of the best teams Maryland will play in its nonconference schedule, so this could be fun. This game tips off at 7 p.m. on ESPN2
The Numbers
Maryland: 7-0
Pittsburgh: 5-1
Last time they played: The Terps lost, 83-79.
