Maryland basketball enjoyed a much-needed victory over the Georgetown Hoyas Tuesday night. The Terps follow that up with a matchup against a much easier opponent: the Division-III St. Mary’s Seahawks.
The Terps looked like a loss was coming their way versus Georgetown until they staged a satisfying comeback topped off with Melo Trimble free throws and a Kevin Hurter game saving block.
Maryland will now have a game that should be a surefire win against a Division III school. The Terps should not have an issue with St. Mary’s, but it will be nice to see how the team plays after this energizing victory over Georgetown.
