Maryland basketball looked underwhelming in the Terps’ six-point victory over American on Friday, and AP Poll voters noticed.
Maryland debuted at No. 25 last week, but the Terps are unranked in the latest poll, released on Monday.
Indiana is the Big Ten’s highest-ranked team, moving up from No. 11 to No. 6 following a 103-99 win over Kansas. Wisconsin, meanwhile, stays at No. 9 following a 32-point win over Central Arkansas. Michigan State fell one spot to No. 13 after a one-point loss to Arizona. Purdue kept its spot, remaining at No. 15.
Maryland remains ranked in the Coaches Poll, coming in at No. 24.
Duke remains as the poll’s top team in the country, followed by Kentucky, Villanova, Oregon and North Carolina.
Cal replaces the Terps as the AP’s No. 25.
Maryland plays at Georgetown on Tuesday at 6:30. The Terps’ tilt with the Hoyas will be televised on Fox Sports 1.
