Maryland basketball media day was Tuesday, and every single player from the Terps’ men’s and women’s teams talked to reporters during the afternoon. Mark Turgeon and Brenda Frese also addressed the media in Heritage Hall before heading down to the floor for more interviews.

In other news
Hey, Maryland men’s soccer won again, in double-overtime thanks to a Gordon Wild hat trick.
Field hockey won, too, holding off Virginia 2-1. It’s Maryland’s third straight win against a top-10 opponent.
The women’s soccer team, on the other hand, hasn’t scored in four games. Here’s Justin Fitzgerald on the Terps’ offensive struggles.
Volleyball is host to Ohio State tonight. Maryland beat the Buckeyes last year, and the two squads will play a home-and-home Wednesday and Friday.
The baseball team just wrapped up its Fall World Series. Former Terps Anthony Papio and Kevin Martir returned to coach the two intrasquad teams for the series, and Team Papio took the title after a come-from-behind win in the deciding Game 3.
In football news, Perry Hills had one of his best games at Maryland in Saturday’s win over Michigan State.
And Terps basketball is projected as a middle-of-the-pack Big Ten team by Sports Illustrated. Here’s the whole conference preview.
