The long national nightmare that was the Hunta Dick saga is finally over. The Terps are gonna be dickless next year. The solid-gold comment on that comes to us from denton8er in the last talk-page's comments:

I suspect the Portal has closed on us
and this is the group Maryland plays with in 2023-24. KHemer agrees; he said this in the last talk-page's comments:
I think this is our team. Hard to imagine Willard is going to recruit over any of the other players unless it's a home run. Not a lot of home runs currently out there. I think he believes in his ability to scheme and develop players.
Guards: Young, Martinez, DHS, Long, Lamothe, Stephens
Wings/Forwards: Scott, Geronimo, Kaiser, Batchelor
Centers: Juju, CSR, PiercePresumably leaving: Dziuba
I think that's a T25 roster. Definitely bigger, deeper, and more talented than that 2021 team that made the tourney.
That's exactly how I see it. KHemer presumed correctly, Dziuba jumped thru the Portal before it closed. For reference, here's a scholly chart based on last season. Departures in red, returnees in green, arrivals in blue.

Recruiting news should start heating up! Some early-bird AAU tournaments have already started, and many others will follow as summer gets underway. Is Queen gonna sign??? Who else??
