By playing in Thursday’s game against Coppin State, Maryland men’s basketball forward Donta Scott set a program record with his 142nd career game played with the Terps.

Scott was previously tied with Jake Layman and Juan Dixon for the second-most appearances. He needs just 10 more starts to break Steve Blake’s leading mark of 136.

Additionally, with his 12-point performance against the Eagles, the fifth-year senior reached 1,449 career points, equaling Eric Ayala for No. 20 all-time in program history. Scott also has the 12th-most rebounds in school history.
