Three-star cornerback Larry Tarver Jr. signed with Nebraska on Wednesday, backing off a June commitment to Maryland football. Before pledging to the Terps, he was committed to Florida International.

The first flip from Maryland this cycle, Tarver is the No. 76 ranked cornerback in the class, per the 247Sports Composite.

Listed at 5-foot-9, 165 pounds, he transferred to Miami Norland High School for his senior season, during which he recorded 27 tackles, four interceptions and two sacks.

During his junior season at TRU Prep Academy (Miami Gardens, Fl.), he was an all-county second-team selection.

Three-stars Lloyd Irvin and La’khi Roland are the remaining two cornerbacks from Maryland’s class of 2024, both of which have signed with the Terps.
