Three-star lineman Logan Bennett signed with Maryland football early Wednesday morning, marking the first player not committed to the program entering the day to sign with the Terps. He decommitted from Michigan State on Nov. 7.

The St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, Md.) product is ranked as the No. 113 interior offensive lineman in his class and No. 41 overall player from Maryland, per the 247Sports Composite. Listed at 6-foot-5, 300 pounds, he took an official visit to College Park on Dec. 8.

Maryland had seen two linemen walk back their commitments in the past two months, but Bennett’s signing brings the number of offensive linemen in the Terps’ 2024 recruiting class back up to seven. He plans to enroll at Maryland early.
