Trevor Szymanski, a 3-star offensive lineman, is staying local and following in his brother’s footsteps. On Wednesday, he signed with Maryland football, solidifying his commitment to play with his brother, AJ, a tight end for the Terps.
Szymanski is from Towson, Maryland, where he attends Loyola Blakefield. This past fall, he was named to the All-MIAA “A” Conference team, playing on both sides of the line of scrimmage.
His brother appeared in six games for Maryland this season, primarily used as a blocking tight end due to his advantageous size.
Listed at 6-foot-5 and 280 pounds, Szymanski is ranked by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 45 player from Maryland in his class and the No. 119 interior offensive lineman in his class. He held offers from five other Power Five schools: Boston College, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.
