Terez Davis won’t have to travel far from home to play college football. The three-star offensive lineman from DeMatha Catholic High School, just down the road from College Park, officially signed with Maryland football on Wednesday.
Davis is a 6-foot-5, 290-pound offensive tackle who earned first-team All-Met honors from The Washington Post this fall. Raised in Texas before moving to Hyattsville, Maryland, Davis will look to help rebuild an offensive line that is expected to be without at least three starters from this year’s unit next year.
Per the 247Sports Composite, Davis is the No. 106 offensive tackle in the class of 2024 and the No. 39 overall player in Maryland.
“I can’t wait to be a Terp and will do anything to help this program,” Davis told Testudo Times. “I give all the glory to God.”
Davis chose Maryland over multiple ACC schools, including Syracuse and Boston College, and initially committed to the Terps in June.
