Maryland linebacker Riyad Wilmot and running back Ramon Brown both announced Monday afternoon that they will enter the transfer portal.

Wilmot announced his intentions in an Instagram post, while Brown’s decision was first reported by Matt Zenitz of 247Sports.

Wilmot played sparingly in his three seasons at Maryland but began to earn a larger role as a redshirt junior this past season, recording 12 tackles and a sack. Brown, a former four-star recruit, played two seasons with the Terps. After seeing 43 touches his freshman year, he battled injury this season and only tallied one carry as a sophomore in a crowded running back room.

Maryland has had 10 players enter the transfer portal this offseason, with Wilmot marking the sixth on the defensive side of the ball. The Terps have brought in one transfer thus far: Bowling Green cornerback Jalen Huskey.
