Many are disappointed by the state of recruiting after a September where many of our targets dropped us or have chosen other schools. Mustaf snubbed us for Georgia Tech, Rooths has apparently written us out of his top 3, Hodge is Nova bound, and Boogie probably just put us on the list to be polite. That basically leaves us with Oliogu and Queen as current options for '24. Any new target players for 2024 surfacing?

Queen's official MD visit, the last on his list, is set for Oct 21. Is being positioned last mean that we're still in the driver's seat on this one, or will he be persuaded by Indiana, NIL money or otherwise?

Personally, I see the need for another PG in this class to go along with at least 1 big. The modern game is guard-centric, so we need at least 1 more lead guard at the ready for when Harris-Smith moves on. I still expect Lamothe to be better than his ranking, but you can never have too many ball handlers.

Reminder, the early signing period for student-athletes enrolling in the 2023-24 year runs November 8 thru November 15. The regular signing period starts next April 17 (2024) and runs thru May 15. Official signing date info for all sports can be found here or here.
