Maryland women’s basketball recently added a new member to its staff with Maryland graduate Mallory Mathis joining the team as the new director of recruiting content.

“Mallory is someone who is going to keep us out ahead of the game the way our staff loves to recruit,” Maryland head coach Brenda Frese said in a press release. “She worked with us previously and is extremely bright and talented. She will allow us to be cutting edge in all that we do and help us put out the very best materials to showcase our program.”

Frese brought on Mathis, who graduated in 2021, to help with the program’s recruiting materials. Mathis will be directly involved with supporting the staff’s recruiting efforts. She will be in charge of creating designs for recruiting materials and managing a content calendar, along with other recruitment-related responsibilities.

Mathis was a former intern with the women’s basketball and football programs at Maryland and now she will be stepping into her new role after earning her bachelor’s degree in graphic design.
