Maryland football is returning home after defeating Illinois on the road and faces Kent State in College Park at Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium at 3:40 p.m.
The Terps have an opportunity to advance to a 4-0 record for the first time since 2016. It has also been five years since Maryland has swept its slate of nonconference opponents.
Kent State is entering the matchup at 1-2 on the season, with its lone win coming against the Virginia Military Institute back on Sept. 11. The last time the Golden Flashes played, they only managed to score points in the opening quarter of a 30-7 loss to the No. 5 Iowa Hawkeyes.
As always, this is your space for thoughts, observations or whatever you would like to share, but be respectful.
