Maryland football will face Illinois in its first conference matchup of the season. The Terps are coming off two home wins against West Virginia and Howard as they head on the road for the first time during the 2021 season.
Maryland has been showcasing its talent on both sides of the ball with quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa leading the offense with a 76.2 completion percentage. Tagovailoa has passed for a total of 606 yards, six touchdowns and zero turnovers.
Eight different Terps have scored for Maryland over the past two games including wide receivers Dontay Demus Jr., Rakim Jarrett and Carlos Carriere as well as tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo and running backs Tayon Fleet-Davis, Roman Hemby, Peny Boone and Colby McDonald.
