Maryland football picked up a commitment Sunday with three-star wide receiver Nasir Addison announcing his commitment via Twitter and Instagram.
Addison selected the Terps over offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Kentucky, UMass, Syracuse and Temple.
The Irvington, New Jersey native provides a decent height with a 6-foot-3 frame, but the wideout’s versatility after the catch is what has stood out about what he’s been able to do during his time at Irvington High School. In his sophomore season in high school, Addison had 16 catches for 279 yards and one touchdown. He averaged just over 17 yards per catch that year.
Addison received an offer from the Terps in January 2021 and has visited the school a number of times since. His most recent visit to the university came on Oct. 1 when Maryland took Iowa under the lights.
