so without further ado:
I'm a big Turgeon supporter, but it's getting harder and harder to ignore facts. He hasn't ever won the B1G regular season. In his eight seasons at Maryland he has zero B1G regular season titles.
But given his track record, should we have expected him to win a B1G regular season title. Let's look at the facts:
8 years at Maryland: Zero B1G Regular Season Titles
4 years at Texas A&M: Zero B1G Regular Season Titles
7 years at Wichita State: Zero B1G Regular Season Titles
2 years at Jacksonville State: Zero B1G Regular Season Titles
Let's face it, at every stop he's coached at, Mark Turgeon hasn't won the B1G regular season title. With no history and no track record of winning it. I don't think we can ever expect it to ever happen.
There are two takeaways:First, it's really hard to win the B1G, especially when your school plays in a different conference.
Second: this might count as S***posting but it's par for the course given some of the "hot takes" in the Testudo Times' comment section/fan posts.
