The Big Ten women’s soccer tournament is officially set after standings and matchups for the conference’s top-eight teams were released Wednesday.
In the first round, games will be played at the higher seed’s venue, followed by the semifinal and championship hosted at Rutgers University.
Maryland landed as a six-seed, making the tournament for the first time in program history, and will travel to Ann Arbor to take on conference’s third ranked Michigan Wolverines on Sunday at 1 p.m.

The Terrapins faced Michigan in their last game of the regular season, but managed just two shots in the 4-1 loss. The Wolverines finished only behind Wisconsin and Rutgers in Big Ten rankings, who finished first and second respectively.
If Maryland is able to push past Michigan in upset fashion, the team will travel to New Jersey for a Friday matchup with the winner of No. 2 Rutgers and No. 7 Indiana.
