Maryland will look to end its two-game losing streak as it heads to Minnesota to faceoff with a much improved Gophers squad that is undefeated and the No. 17 ranked in the country.
The Terps should be a bit more explosive on offense for the tough matchup ahead as it gets back quarterback Josh Jackson and running back Anthony McFarland Jr. from ankle injuries, although neither has been confirmed as starters for this week.
On the offensive end, Maryland will need to be at its best if it wants to pull off the upset and get its season back on track. Minnesota ranks 17th overall in total defense this season, so the Terps will need to establish a strong offensive attack early and often if they want any chance to win the game.
Maryland leads the overall series with Minnesota with three wins to Minnesota’s one. The Terps won last year’s matchup in a blowout 42-13.
The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
