Maryland basketball is back in College Park this afternoon as the Terps host Northwestern on ESPN2 at noon.
Both teams have had up-and-down seasons, and each is seeking a late-season hot streak to improve its postseason hopes. Maryland is anxious to improve on its 5-8 Big Ten record, while the Wildcats enter at 6-6 in the conference. The teams sit at 16-10 and 15-10, respectively.
Maryland center Michal Cekovsky, who has missed the Terps' last three games with a left heel injury, is in uniform and warming up as we type this. It's unclear how available he'll be, but his presence is a good sign for a team that's been dealt injury after injury in the frontcourt.
This is your space to talk about whatever you see today. As always, be respectful, and go Terps.
