GameThread: Maryland basketball vs. Iowa

Come watch the Terps with us!

Mike Carter-USA TODAY Sports

Maryland basketball is back home, facing off against Iowa at 8 p.m. on FS1.The Terps get a pitstop at home before two more on the road.

Maryland is 2-2 in league play after a sobering blowout to No. 1 Michigan State, the Terps get a shot to bounce back. This is the only time these two teams will match up this season. The Hawkeyes are still winless in Big Ten play through four games, with January losses to Michigan and Ohio State. Iowa head coach Fran McCaffery is still adjusting to life without Peter Jok, and Iowa has yet to put it together. Sophomore Tyler Cook is the Hawkeyes' leading scorer and rebounder, averaging 15.2 points and 6.6 rebounds a night.

Mark Turgeon's squad will attempt to get back in the win column tonight for win No. 14. This is you space for commentary, analysis, or what have you. As always, be respectful, and go Terps.
