Maryland basketball is right in the middle of a difficult January schedule, and injuries have the Terps at far less than full strength against some of the Big Ten's top teams. After blowout losses at Michigan State and Ohio State recently, it's another road test against Michigan.
The Wolverines come in ranked No. 23 in the country and beat then-No. 4 Michigan State two days ago. Maryland won at Michigan last year, but doing so again will be a tall order. A loss would drop the Terps below .500 in Big Ten play, while a victory would be both a resume-booster and provide a spark before Maryland returns home.
