It's been an eventful start to the Maryland football season. The Terps upset Texas in the season opener, then scored their most points in 63 years against Towson, then fell to UCF out of the bye week. In that time, they've lost two quarterbacks for the season with torn ACLs.
After all that, it's time to start the nine-game conference schedule. Maryland starts with a road battle against Minnesota this afternoon. The Terps' hopes will rest largely on the play of quarterback Max Bortenschlager, who will face a tough test with Minnesota's defense. The Gophers have allowed 24 points in the season's first three games.
No matter what happens, this space is yours to share your thoughts and observations. As always, be respectful, and go Terps.
