Maryland soccer’s Eryk Williamson is playing for Team USA in the CONCACAF Under-20 Championship in Costa Rica. He crushed this shot to double America’s lead over El Salvador Friday night.

The goal assured Team USA of a spot in Sunday’s championship game, and also essentially qualified them for the U-20 World Cup in South Korea, TT soccer person Matt Lichtenstadter tells me.
Williamson scored three goals and had five assists in his sophomore season with the Terps, and was on the All-Big Ten second team in 2016.
