Maryland basketball will look to snap a two-game losing streak this afternoon against Ohio State.
But before the teams tip off at 4 p.m on ESPN, Maryland will honor former head coach Lefty Driesell by hanging a banner with his name from the rafters of Xfinity Center. This is also the team’s annual “gold rush” game, so students who attend will get gold shirts.
The Terps beat the Buckeyes, 77-71, in the team’s meeting on Jan. 31. Maryland’s lost both of its games since then, falling to Purdue and Penn State. Ohio State’s gone in the opposite direction, beating Michigan and Rutgers since that meeting.
The Numbers

Ohio State: 13-9, 5-7 Big Ten
