The Maryland football team released an updated depth chart ahead of Friday’s game against FIU, and it includes three co-starters at running back: Ty Johnson, Trey Edmunds and Kenneth Goins. That’s a change from Johnson’s status as the sole starter for the season opener against Howard.
Maryland cornerback J.C. Jackson, who missed the opener due to an academic issue, still isn’t listed on the depth chart. The starting outside cornerback opposite Alvin Hill is RaVon Davis, with Will Likely still listed as a nickel.
The full depth chart is here:
Starters on the offensive and defensive lines remain identical to what we saw in Week 1, as do the wide receivers and linebackers. Likely is still listed on offense in addition to his role as nickel corner.
Quarterback Caleb Rowe was missing from the two-deep for the season opener, but he’s back for FIU, listed in a three-way tie backing up Perry Hills. He was sidelined for fall camp with an unspecified injury.
