Maryland football scored seven touchdowns in their first win under new head coach DJ Durkin on Saturday, from six different rushing on the ground. Here are the scoring plays presented chronologically from the Terps’ 52-13 win over Howard.

Goins rushed for 40 yards on four attempts, two of which came on this score and 36 of which came on a breakout run for Maryland’s biggest gain. He was one of five Terps running backs to make his way into the end zone.

Edmunds, the Virginia Tech transfer, scored from three yards out in his Maryland debut. The son of an All-American Terp posted 48 yards on the ground on six attempts.

Then Johnson got his off a 21-yard rush flashing jukes and quick moves to dance into the end zone. He finished with 48 yards on six carries.
5. Lorenzo Harrison

The freshman, Harrison, found his way onto the board for the first time in his career. He led the team with 67 yards on nine carries.

The only non-running back to cross the end zone, Pigrome had a dazzling college debut. He rushed for 53 yards on seven attempts and completed four of his six passes for 60 yards.
7. Jake Funk, another freshman, scored the team’s final touchdown inside the four-minute mark of the fourth quarter. He finished as the team’s second-leading rusher with 59 yards on eight carries.
