Maryland football’s depth chart for Purdue includes Perry Hills at QB and 3 starting RBs

Wes Brown isn’t listed as a starter in his return from suspension.

It appears the shoulder injury Perry Hills suffered against UCF won’t be enough to keep him out Maryland football’s game against Purdue this Saturday.

The team’s depth chart, released Monday night, lists Hills as the sole starter at quarterback. Last week, DJ Durkin said Hills was “day-to-day” in a teleconference with media.

Running back Wes Brown returns from a three-game suspension against Purdue, but he isn’t listed as a starter. Instead, Trey Edmunds, Kenneth Goins Jr. and Ty Johnson are listed as the starters, with Brown, Lorenzo Harrison and Jake Funk listed behind them.

Safety Denzel Conyers isn’t listed on the two-deep. He started the first three games, but went down with injuries multiple times against UCF. Josh Woods takes his place, with freshmen Elijah Daniels and Qwuantrezz Knight backing up he and Darnell Savage Jr.

Maryland’s offensive line remains the same after a game during which the team rotated several players in on the line while allowing five sacks.
