DeMatha Catholic (Md.) offensive tackle Marcus Minor will announce his college choice on Sunday. Minor, a four-star recruit in the class of 2017 and the fifth-ranked player in Maryland, is a top Terrapins target. The announcement had previously been slated for Saturday
Minor lists a top group of Auburn, Florida, Maryland, Miami and Virginia Tech. That’s some tough recruiting competition. But this feels pretty good for Maryland, who’s recruited the ultra-local prospect hard.
The Terps are the overwhelming leader in the 247Sports Crystal Ball for Minor, and Maryland recruiting reporter Ahmed Ghafir pegged Minor to Maryland on Friday. It’d be surprising if Maryland didn’t add its second four-star tackle of the 2017 class, with McDonogh’s Jordan McNair already verbally committed.
