New, 36 comments

Welcome to Thursday’s Maryland Minute, a short story followed by a roundup of Terps-related news.

Five-star Delaware guard Trevon Duval is one of Maryland basketball’s top targets in the class of 2017, and the Terps just offered his AAU backcourt mate, three-star 2018 guard Eric Ayala.

Ayala was originally a member of Duval’s class, but he reclassified to stay in high school another year. He’s urrently ranked the No. 1 player in Delaware, the No. 4 combo guard and the No. 104 player in the class of 2018, per the 247Sports Composite.

Ayala also has offers from Cincinnati, Miami and Temple, but many other schools are starting to show interest, says Josh Stirn of InsideMdSports.
