After Maryland men's and women's lacrosse swept the Big Ten Tournament titles, we've got another deep field this week. Our contestants in this week's Testudo Times Terp of the Week poll are: women's lacrosse's Caroline Wannen and Taylor Cummings, men's lacrosse's Matt Rambo, Connor Kelly and Kyle Bernlohr, baseball's Taylor Bloom and Kevin Smith and softball's Skylynne Ellazar.
Caroline Wannen, Women's Lacrosse -
Wannen had two goals and three assists against Rutgers in the semifinal and three goals and an assist against Northwestern in the final.
Taylor Cummings, Women's Lacrosse -
Cummings had three goals, two assists, two ground balls and five draw controls against Rutgers in the semifinal and two goals, four ground balls and six draw controls against Northwestern in the final.
Matt Rambo, Men's Lacrosse -
Rambo had three goals and two assists against Penn State in the semifinal and three goals and three assists against Rutgers in the final. He was named the Big Ten Tournament MVP.
Connor Kelly, Men's Lacrosse -
Kelly scored a career-high four goals against Penn State in the semifinal and then scored another four in the final against Rutgers.
Kyle Bernlohr, Men's Lacrosse -
Bernlohr made 12 saves in both the semifinal against Penn State and the final against Rutgers.
Taylor Bloom, Baseball -
Bloom helped even the series against Illinois by pitching a complete game, giving up only one run in nine innings of work.
Kevin Smith, Baseball -
Smith hit a go-ahead three-run homer in the bottom of the seventh inning to help even the series against Illinois.
Skylynne Ellazar, Softball -
Ellazar went 3-for-3 with five RBIs and hit the go-ahead grand slam that helped Maryland beat Indiana in the season finale.
